Friday, July 20, 2007 - Harem Scarem to move on after next album
Melodicrock.com has received the following announcement from Harem Scarem frontman Harry Hess:

"Hello everyone - I wanted to personally send out a message to let our fans know that the tour for Human Nature will be Harem Scarem's last. We will make one more studio record and then after 20 years we have decided to move on to other things. We look forward to seeing you in September/October for our final tour."

Melodicrock.com's Andrew McNeice comments: "I am sure that Harry's news will be met with great sadness from both long time fans of the band and also more recent converts. It is definitely a sad day for me. Of all the bands that people have been introduced to via coverage on this site over the years; Harem Scarem have always been the most popular among those that send me feedback. The melodic rock songwriting genius of these guys will be something that will continue to be appreciated for a long time to come.

So whatever you do - if you can make it possible - see these guys live on their last few live dates. One such date is of course the MelodicRockFest show in South Bend, Indiana on October 6. Full show details here. European fans can see the band at Firefest IV on October 27. Full details: www.thefirefest.com."
