Redlight Hookers started to take form in early 2001. Johnny, Jim and Genz got together with David who also found Kristofer.

The writing process started right away and they did a few gigs during that summer. In october the first demo was recorded and got named Fishle. (Fishle doesn´t mean anything, it was just a word Kristofer made up)

In early 2002 they recorded their second demo and Johnny went to detox and rehab for his alcohol and drug abuse. That four track product got to be David´s last. He commited suicide in July.

The others continued doing a few gigs, rehearsing and got a new member called Jimmy. They later recorded their 3rd demo called Crush My Enemies in 2003. Sending it around to get signed but with no results the band decided to go into the studio again to make this current demo called "Two Seven Six", wich also is the name of the song that was written for and performed at David´s funeral.
