On the Rise - Beat of your heart
On the Rise is a new duo consisting of Terje Eide (vocals and guitar) and Bennech Lyngboe (vocals). Both have paid their dues playing shows in Norway, where the band origins.

This is only a promotion single with 3 excerpts taken from the forthcoming album.

Beat of Your Heart is a catchy and well produced AOR song. The double vocals on Beat of Your Heart bring memories of Matthew and Gunner Nelson's twin vocals. The music is somehow similar to Cheap Trick. The song features both acoustic and electric guitar and a tasty melodic solo.

It is always hard to judge a band by only listening to one song. Full review when approaching the street date.

On the Rise's debut album is to be released on February 24th 2003.
