Now Playing: Essence - Song: "Blood Culture" Album: "Lost in Violence"
I listened to this song for the first time on Monday , and I just can't get it out of my head. The song has that old school sound, which is pretty cool from a modern thrash metal band.
I'm a huge fan of the intro; you just don't know what's coming next! That bassline is very spicy and it gives the soundscape an interesting edge.

"Blood Culture" is from the band's debut album: "Lost in Violence" which was released on February 25, 2011 - and I can't believe that it's their debut . awesome!! and not to forget : the band has just published their first international tour. It happens as support for the polish death legends, Vader, on their Summer Campaign 2011 tour in June. The full line-up for the tour will also include Brazilian Krisiun and Belgian Resistance. Yeah, it's insane how you can go from just being an unknown Danish Thrash metal band and know going on tour supporting Vader.. pretty amazing.

You can listen to the song here

I have to get the album ASAP!

Killer track. It also works that they threw in that 12 second bass solo after the guitar.

They also have a 4 song Ep.

@Little Drummer Boy : Killer track - Exactly !!

Yeah, that bass solo fits perfectly in right there - works very well as a "red line"
