| Friday, March 11, 2011 - Former Iron Maiden Singer Jailed | Paul Di'Anno, the former Iron Maiden frontman has been jailed for falsely claiming £45,000 in benefits from the UK Government. The singer had claimed that he was suffering nerve damage to his back that prevented him from working but then continued to work in the music industry via touring.
Di'anno was told by the court he would serve at least four and a half months of the sentence behind bars before being released on conditional bail.
