Sepultura - Roorback (2-Track sampler)
Exclusively we have gotten a pre-view sampler of the new Sepultura album containing 2 songs.

Godless is a typical Sepultura thrasher. On the middle play of Godless we get a taste of their Brazilian roots with some tribal bongo drumming.

The other track on this sampler is a cover of the U2 classic Bullet the Blue Sky. This track is included on the EP "Revolusongs", which is a bonus disc on the limited edition of "Roorback". Derrick Green actually sings on this track. The version is quite close to the original, but don't worry the song still has the Sepultura trademark all over it. Guitarist Andreas Kisser is reproducing The Edge's massive guitar sound effects perfectly.

"Roorback" is the third album with American singer Derrick Green. In my opinion an important one, since this album must prove that Derrick Green now is fully incorporated in Sepultura.

After attending Sepultura's only show in Scandinavia I must admit that they still deliver the goods on stage. We got some pre-tastes from the "Roorback" album and they were performed well. Surprisingly they also played Bullet the Blue Sky, but the song worked more as a showstopper for the metal crowd.

"Roorback" is out May 26th.
